Gold, honeydew orbs watch unwearyingly, as if recording the other players around the blaring court. The thunder of footsteps and the bounce the ball that makes the room quake does not overwhelm the concentration of the young man who watches the movement around him. I want to hold you as if I was the only person who could comfort you, dance with you as if I am the only person who gets your rhythm, walk next to you as if I was the only person who understood why you walked so leisurely. But I can't… I can't hold you because you hate to be touched so intimately, can't dance with you since you move in a way that no one could follow your movement, can't walk next to you since you essentially walk too fast for me to possibly catch up. That blue eyed gaze unbreakable; unnerving to the opponent that had to guard it. Body that was low and knees bent to keep unyielding balance. The ball kept low and open as well, nearly taunting the defender to steal it, but that idea was unobtainable.
